Abstract

Derivation of binding energy of nucleons in deuterium, tritium, helium 2-He-4, and carbon 6-C-12 atoms on the basis of shell-nodal atomic model and dynamic model of elementary particles is presented in this paper. It is shown that the internal structure of nucleons at the level of constituent g-particles recalls the shell-nodal structure of silicon of the nucleon level. Binding energies calculated well agree with the binding energies estimated from the mass-energy equation as the mass defect.

The strange destiny of this paper!

In June 5, 2005 I prepared the paper for publication and sent it in Hyperfine Interactions and then in The European Physical Journal A (EPJA-05.juin.17-2479), which rejected the paper as not suitable for their journals. In September 2005, during my visit Beijing Institute of Applied Physics & Computation Mathematics, China, with lectures, I handed on the paper to Prof. Zhang Benai from the Institute. He was one of the referees of a theoretical physical journal in China and promised (together with Dr. Weilli Sun, Chief of the Laboratory) to present the paper for publication there. From that time there are no responses from them - silence. More than one year ago, in May 2006, I sent the paper to Hadronic Journal and received the positive decision from Prof. R. M. Santilli, Editor in Chief of the journal (see below two his e-mail messages), on publication of the paper in Volume 29, 2006. However, due to unknown for me reasons the paper was not published until now - again complete silence. This is why I decided do not wait more and to publish the paper in Internet on my web site.

Dear Colleague,

I am pleased to inform you that I have accepted your paper for publication in the Hadronic Journal Vol. 29, 2006. Please send us a new pdf version in our format (essentially enlarging the current pdf to a text 135 x 190 mm). See our IBR site for more information. Please send the new pdf to both this email and that of the Hadronic press receiving a copy.

Regards

Ruggero Maria Santilli
Editor in Chief
